Terms of Service

These terms are a contract between you and the Fox Orbit team when you use the Fox Orbit app or website ("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you are also testing a beta release, the Beta Terms apply in addition to these.

1. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access: foxorbit@foxcal.app.

2. What Fox Orbit does (and doesn't do)

Fox Orbit unifies your calendars, tasks, screenshots, budget and cycle. It provides AI-generated suggestions and insights based on your data. Those suggestions are informational only and are not medical, legal, financial or professional advice. Do not rely on Fox Orbit for medical decisions (including cycle or contraception decisions) or for critical financial decisions.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for anything illegal or to harm others.
  • Upload malware, or content you don't have the right to upload.
  • Attempt to break, reverse-engineer or overload the Service.
  • Scrape, resell or wrap the Service without written permission.
  • Use the Service to send spam or unwanted messages.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you put into Fox Orbit (events, tasks, screenshots, notes, budget entries, cycle logs). You grant us a limited licence to store, process and display that content only to run the Service for you and to generate insights on your request. We do not sell your content, and we do not use it to train third-party models.

5. Third-party accounts

When you connect Google, Microsoft or Apple calendars, your use of those services is also governed by their own terms. We only access the scopes you approve, and you can disconnect at any time from the Calendar accounts panel.

6. Beta and changes

Parts of the Service are in active development. Features may change, break or disappear, and data may occasionally be reset in beta. We will give reasonable notice for material changes to paid features.

7. Fees

Fox Orbit is currently free during the testing phase. Paid plans may be introduced later. If they are, we will tell you before any charge and you can decide whether to continue.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, abuse the Service, or put other users at risk. On termination we delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI outputs will be accurate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Fox Orbit team is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) £50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify the Fox Orbit team against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or your breach of these terms.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will notify material changes by email or in-app before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless local consumer law grants you a different mandatory right.
